Post by nerakrose » Mon Mar 02, 2009 8:30 pm

i bought a lotto ticket today, for no reason whatsoever. but then i realised that i have no clue how to check it. i've never had anything to do with lotto before, so help, please? i already made a fool out of myself when buying it, so i don't particularly want to go back to the shop, heh.

Lottery is Saturday night around 9 on TV1 (I think). You see the results then. Then it is in Sunday newspapers somewhere near the sports section. Or you can check it from www.veikkaus.fi

You coupon is for next Saturdays lottery.

There’s a live Lotto show on YLE TV1 every Saturday at 8:45 pm. You can watch that and check the numbers live as they come out of the lotto machine. Or, you can check them after the fact on YLE Teletext service, p. 471, or on the Veikkaus website.

Or if it is the Viking Lotto, it’s the same, but it’s on YLE TV1 on Wednesdays at 8:25 pm, or on Teksti-TV p. 472, or on another page on the Veikkaus website.

You can it back to every "Lotto" place, for example R-Kioski. You can ask them to check if you have won something.

You go back to any kiosk selling the lotto and ask them to check. No big deal. I buy a wad of theose joint ventures usually.
