The problem is that this forum is only in finnish and it deals almost only with ragga events.

As far as i'm concerned I prefer roots reggae or sound systems but I doubt that you have this kind of music in Finland.

However thank you very much for the exodus bar I ve been there and its nice to see such a place, even kalio area is nice and I didn't know it before.

If anybody knows a bit more about reggae , dub , ska or sound system events , feel free to contact me !

Try Redrum on a sunday, i went for a Raappana gig a while back, a friend told me something about it having the best sound system around, good sound, nice bar and i'm sure the staff/clientele would be happy to point you in the right direction.

First I have to correct you on two things:

1) www.fi-reggae.com is not at all exclusively about ragga. It's covering quite the entire 'reggae-spectre'

2) sound systems are actually playing mostly ragga/dancehall-style reggae instead of roots-rock-style reggae.

In any case: fi di real Suomi reggae (roots and dancehall) check out the finnish based reggaeband "Soul Captain Band". They are top of the world reggae artists.

Also nice reggae vibes: "Natural Vibrations" reggae band

Sound systems: Komposti/ MPV and others

Artists/ toasters: Raappana, Jukka Pokka/ Paarma (he's te best)

Greetings in the name of H.I.M. (not the finnish version 8)
