Post by Suskun » Wed Mar 18, 2009 8:50 am

Hi..!

It's me Sushil Raj Kunwar from Nepal. Recently, I am planning to move Finland for further studies but due to my countries and personal intrest.

I am planning to take a permanent Resident Permit .i.e Citizenship Card of Finland, itself.

Please let me know about the rules, regulations and procedure regarding it.

You can't get a permanent residence permit just on basis of studying. You'll find quite a bit of basic info at http://www.migri.fi, so study that first.

And one more thing: avoid the consultancies. Read this story on the http://www.nepalfinland.com website, to get an example of how they may "serve" you...

Hmmm... You can't get permanent residence at once...

At least you have to have four years of continues A type resident permit...

Again, getting A type based on studies is not going to work...

But you can can come and then find a job and then...etc... It will work that way...

Btw, Citizenship and Permanent Residence are two different things...

Dear Sir, mr. Suksun, As a perceived personnel representative of perceived Nepali's emigrating to Finland, I must say that your application to emigrate is pretty impressive.
I should however point to you that studying in Finland is both a privilege and a matter of ennui.
and Since you are coming to study here because of your country's personal intrest, I should note that you can find that panache using the placebo effect of a virtual Nepali Airlines Flight..
And I find tit fascinating about all the things that your country is willing to sacrifice to send you on such a journey!!
It could possibly be an uninhibited pleasure to start applying for that elusie citizenship card of Finland itself ....considering how well that you know the rules and regulations of the procedures.
After which we could possibly have a virtual discussion of the concepts of emigration from individuals of such stature!!

Since you don't seem to be able to find things out for yourself, I suggest you contact one of the agents in Nepal who arrange those things. They ask a lot of money, but they guarantee you'll get into Finland.
Don't ask Migri.fi. They are overworked and probably deny you entry if you bother them.
