It's that time of year again.

So, the days to avoid town are 1st-4th April.

You can get two jars of Bonne Maman jam or jelly (they do a great Quince jelly) for 3,60€ (page 95 Thursday). But not worth the hassle in the food-hall.

I didn't see any great bargains either but if I still had the Stockmann card I might be tempted to sneak a greenhouse on there, hoping the DH doesn't notice. Don't have their card though, and no cash, so no greenhouse.

Someone was looking for food mixers a couple of weeks ago. The Kenwood K-Mix is on page 88 for 299€. Not sure how that compares to the usual RRP, but it's around £295 from amazon-uk so could be a decent bargain. The Titanium KM010 Mega Pack is on the same page at 590€, only £380 from Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kenwood-Chef-KM ... 278&sr=8-1

I have the nowcompletelyuseless Stockmann card but not the Mastercard. In fact, since they ditched the old store card I don't think I have bought anything in Stockmann.

I think you need to work on the dear husband more... I showed my spouse those greenhouses and
he actively wondered where we could put the bigger one (no space right now, hopefully by spring '10
since a greenhouse was mentioned as a 'likely need' in the moving to Finland conversation).
moving is in the bad <-> crazy continuum

The Stockmann card now is a Mastercard issued by Nordea...and counts for any purchase that you make outside Stockmann also as towards their silver card..
Not that it makes any difference...but it is now a credit card ( similar to what S pankki is doing )

There is also a regular Stockmann card that is NOT a Mastercard (I have one) and you can get points when you buy things cash/debit, but you can't get points if you use a credit card such as VIsa with it. Only if you use their Mastercard (which I have no intention of getting since I already have a Nordea Visa card)
