Private lessons of English and Portuguese

Post by lutsia » Tue Apr 07, 2009 3:34 pm

Hello everyone!

I'm a Brazilian graduated student of English Philology majoring Cultural Translation Studies at Universidade Federal da Bahia. I just graduated and moved to Finland to further my research on Kalevala as well as f or personal reasons. I'm looking for a job which I could use my skills acquired in my graduation, such as languages in different areas and how to use it such as in literature. I speak Portuguese as my mother tongue and been working with it along English on translation in many different areas. I can understand more than a bit of Finnish language, whereas, I am also learning the language in order to develop better wherever I will work at. I've been working as an English language instructor and teacher for a year and a half now, as well as a free lance translator. However, I've been working regularly for two language schools in the last year: in the language center of my university, as well as at Manhattan English School, placed in Salvador (the city where I am from). I easily adapt in different environment-- in times of crisis I am willing to work in any different area as long as I have previous training-- and always get along very well and professional with people. I'm keenly interested on an opportunity to work and if there's some further information that you may want from me, I'd be kindly waiting for those. If you are interested to take a look on my resume, please, send me an email and I will forward it to you :)

Best Regards,

Luciana Pölönen
