Post by thinkprocessfocus » Thu Apr 16, 2009 10:44 pm

hello,

I have made a housing a loan and since there is no one guaranteeing for me, the bank made me pay a guarantee fee. The bank says i can't get it back but then a collegue told me that this guarantee fee can be refunded. Is this correct? He gave the office name sounds like an goverment aganey but I somehow forget what it is.

anyone who knows how it works?

thanks!

If I understand correctly you didn't have someone else to co-sign on a loan with you so you went with what the bank offered and they basically became your co-signer? I know Nordea has/had a service like that. They offered it to me before they knew that I didn't need a co-signer but I think the fee for that would have been non-refundable. I mean its basically paying for a service so once provided why would they refund it? But maybe the thing you are talking about is different.
