Just curios to know how much is your rent increasing every year? As I remember August was the time of change right?

My rent goes up beginning March. In the last 3 years it's increased by €90.

I think I should screw my tenant more, but I only hit him what the As.Oy. hits me with the maintenance bill rises.

Yes, that is the correct translation, David. Of maksu luonnossa, that is.
As he persisted, I was obliged to tootle him gently at first and then, seeing no improvement, to trumpet him vigorously with my horn.

0 €, except when I change apartments . I think it is rather typical that private (individual) landlords don't often bother their tenants with things like that provided they pay in time and do not cause troubles (sure, I have only lived some years, not decades in one place)

Mine went up 14€ at the beginning of January this year. That was the first increase since we first moved in in August 2007.

Mine went up, 17 last year, 19 this year. I live in a student flat and I always thought that it is cheaper but apparently not :)
