Hi !
I'm to move to Helsinki next year. I'm currently living in France and it's pretty hoter here. Actually I don't now what kind of clothes to take with me or to buy, for I've never been to such a cold country.
Can someone advice me ?
Thanks in advance,
Pan.
PS: I'm sorry if I make any mistake. Be understanding !
Clothing concerns
Re: Clothing concerns
gloves, thick socks, hat, heavy coat. just normal winter clothes that is or just imagine living in a -15 degrees country

Re: Clothing concerns
Helsinki isn't really so cold. I buy most of the winter gear for me and the kids from Decathlon and it's good enough. Goretex boots are a good idea if you plan on spending a lot of time outdoors. If you live, sleep, eat etc in the city then your regular gear from Strasbourg is probably OK.
