I know a few guys who play in Turku - I believe the Helsinki teams are quite good (on a Finnish level).

That's the best place to be if you want to play. There's a lot of teams in Helsinki, at least compared to the rest of the country, so you've got a few to choose from. Some of them are more serious and competitive than others. If you're looking to play more for fun then look at the teams who are playing in the 2nd division or the SM40.
