Restaurant Recs for Heinola, Mikkeli or Pieksamaki?

I've gone up to our Summer cabin in Haukivuori for 10 years now and never found a decent restaurant in any of the neighboring cities. Can anyone help a family out with a recommendation for a decent lunch in Heinola, Mikkeli, or Pieksamaki?

For lunch: http://www.ravintolatalli.fi/index.asp although I have never eaten lunch there, but I have heard it is decent. Grandparents had their 170 years birthday party there and it was from ok to good then.

Thanks, Cory. I was hoping you'd have some recs from your time in Heinola. I'm not looking for a culinary paradise - just someplace to eat that's better than the local pizza kebab joint
