OK, I'm confused! Do you want the brass pole the strippers (Pole Dancers) use or the hand rail (bar) the ballet dancers use? Both must be specially cut to fit and specially mounted for structural integrity but one is mounted vertically and the other horizontally. :? If it is to be used at home, the Talonmies will have to pre-approve the installation.

Sorry didn't state it clearly. What i want is the vertical one. But I think there should be such kind of pole that can adjust the height and can be installed easily by users at home, isn't it? :?

http://www.platinumstages.com/

you can get any type of pole here. just ask them if they're willing to ship to helsinki. oh, if they do, make sure to tell them to label the shipment as garden decoration pipe, NOT STRIPPER POLE to avoid the import tax.

That looks like a good one for several reasons:

  • It provides balance and stability for your craziest pole tricks. I don't know how crazy your pole tricks are, but it seems like that would be important.
  • Lighting options provide environment for parties. Not every pole (or every party) can make that claim.
  • Stripper pole base may be used as a coffee table when pole is removed. Very practical in small Finnish apartments. Plus when importing, you can call it "coffee table with lighting options and inertial stabilizer unit," thus avoiding the Nykänen tax.
As he persisted, I was obliged to tootle him gently at first and then, seeing no improvement, to trumpet him vigorously with my horn.

But this is also a sport not only a dance!!! And for me, there is nothing degrading in this, it depends how you practise it: how you are dressed, where you practise it, the way you use it...

Have to agree with Biscayne on this one.

What's next? Women shooting ping-pong balls out of their pooters as an Olympic sport?
