How much does it cost to have a key made?

Where to buy? Where can I find? How do I? Getting started.

How much does it cost to have a key made?

Post by ilikepeanutbutter » Sat Jul 11, 2009 10:32 pm

I was wondering what a basic housekey would cost to get made. I think there are some places, I do know of one in Jumbo.

Thanks!

Just go to your local lukkoseppä and ask Paljonko uuden avaimen teettäminen maksaa?

The most usual place for keyes is a shoemaker. Any shopping center with a shoe repair shop does it. I have not done it recently, but my guess for an ordinary Abloy-key is 10 €. That is a guess based on earlier years when it was 5 €.

Abloy execs and protecs are always ordered from the factory. Price was 20e or more iirc.
"Regular" ones you can get from shoemakers.
