UAS for Spring term?

Post by Vesper » Thu Jul 16, 2009 9:01 pm

Maybe I wasn't aware of this before, but most UAS do not offer English degree placements for the Spring term?

I noticed these statements on some UAS. I'm not sure if they never offered it before or if it's due to the recession.

TAMK - ''Degree programmes starting in spring 2010 (TAMK does not have degree programmes starting in spring 2010)'

Metropolia - 'the next application period will start in January 2010.'

JAMK - 'You can apply for admission to our degree programmes delivered in English once a year. Next chance to apply to JAMK is January 2010'

Many do not. Some do. You can see what's what at http://www.admissions.fi - click on "degree programmes".

Note that application dates for spring 2010 are 1 - 11 September 2009 - you can't apply before that.

There are just two UAS's featured at the moment. It's possible more will appear as September approaches, but not necessarily so.

Usually, higher education studies start in the autumn term so the application round at the start of the year is the "main" one...
