Hki Restaurants with meeting rooms for 40-50 people?

Post by karen » Fri Jul 24, 2009 12:43 pm

I need some recommendations for restaurants in the capital area that have good food and a meeting room/semi-private space for 40-50 people. Downtown is better, but it must be easily accessible by public transportation. Any suggestions?

Most of the Island restaurants can handle those size meals... expensive but good stuff. I guess I have been to all of these, and they are all mostly good.

Do you want to have a meeting and then eat in the restaurant or are you looking for a private dining room? A private dining room for 50 people would have to be quite big (you need tables as well as chairs) whereas a conference room for 50 is smaller (no tables).

It would be a meeting and dinner combined, but the emphasis is on the dinner.

Actually, many restaurants have also separate meeting spaces, in the centre they tend to be in the basement. Check eg here:
http://www.royalravintolat.com/fi/juhla ... tilatiedot
and "tutustu juhlatiloihin", you can check the places per restaurant
eg Kellarikrouvi is handy
Porssitalo is also nice, as well as Sipuli

Loiste has good food, Paakonttori also not bad
