Looking for baby items and more in Jyväskylä

Post by panda_123 » Sun Aug 30, 2009 1:37 pm

Hi there:

My husband and I recently moved to Jyväskylä from Canada and could use some help finding some gently used/good-conditioned items. We do not have a vehicle - so to meet in Jyväskylä would be ideal. We live near a hospital and the University.

We are looking for:

* a stroller/pram - durable would be ideal as we do a lot of walking and have 2 dogs to exercise as well.
* a good conditioned car seat for the baby (I am due early November 2009)
* a baby crib (with or without mattress)
* a small play-pen (or one that folds up)
* an infant baby-carrier
* clean/gently used cloth diapers (all sizes would be great)
* a small vacuum cleaner
* coffee table
* iron
* ironing table
* kettle

If you have anything or can think of anything else we may need (we have a couch, dishes, pans etc.) - by all means send me an email to: chipz20@hotmail.com. Please use subject title "Finland Forum" so I do not delete it automatically, thinking it is spam....or reply to this post - I check this forum quite frequently. Unfortunately we do not have a phone set up yet - but that should be happening this week.

Prices are open for discussion and consideration.
Thank you so much for reading this and/or helping us out :)
Dominique

I cant ask him to give all my things back to me,does not look gud but might b if u contact him on ur behalf.he is very helpful. otherwise if u know a charity shop near university,its not bad,i got an iron for 4 euros n baby clothes n toys roughly ranging b/w 2 to 4 euros. I ll try to chase that gentleman n see if u can get some help.there is no use spending money on brand new things for kids as they grow so fast.He is a Canadian too. take care.bye bye
