Where to find affordable/cheapest flights to South America?

Im travelling to Peru on december, I have been looking through KLM webpage and the flight for 2 adults and one infant is about 2.500 euros.

Id like to know...if any of you know of any webpage,travel agency where I could get better prices? Is it possible to buy the tickets from my home country (now that electronics tickets are being used) would it be cheaper?

Any ideas, or advice would be nice!

IM brasilian, and i always buy flights from Brasil. Try the web site Decolar.com , Submarino.com they are the cheapests. Here there's also vertta web site is quite cheap too!!!
