Do anyone has any idea how to get jobs here in Lappeenranta ?
I have been living in Lappeenranta from Sept,2008. I am looking for any kinds of jobs such as Cleaning or related to Restaurant as i have Hygiene certificate. I tried so many cleaning company here, i went to ask for job and most of them ask me the same thing "Puhutko suomea?" As i am a student, i am studying Finnish language. But that is not a problem, i guess, because i can see some of foreigners are working and they cant speak Finnish language. Do, u guys know what is the best way to try for jobs ? I used to visit mol.fi and then call them directly to ask whether they can give me that work or not ? But most of them say "I'll call you if u r selected" and no one calls
I can see so many international students are working in Jakelusuora (Mainoksia) and i am too, and the earning is very low as u know all. Cant we get any good jobs here ? Does anyone has any idea how to get jobs ? I guess everyone hasn't reference to get a job, i mean the reference who can help u to meet his boss and he'll call u if they have vacancy.
