Craft Fair or Local Designers Market?

Post by MissAlice » Sun Nov 01, 2009 4:54 pm

Hello all,

I was wondering if Helsinki during the November time or beginning of December, would have any Local Design Markets or Craft Fairs? I would like to sell some things I have been making and wanted to buy a table for it. I have been looking around but still haven't been able to find anything, or usually I would find it to late (there were some at the cable factory and another in the Kamppi square)

Does anyone know of any of a site that would show all threw out the year or next?

A pre-thanks to you all :D

you might be quite late to get a place, but try

Traditional Ladies' Xmas market is in Katajanokka Dec 2-6

In Esplanadi there is Tuomaantori xmas market, could not find any site, must be through the city of Helsinki?
i believe that should be fully booked.

Then there is a xmas market in Vanha Dec 13-23 (but this is already fully booked) http://www.juhlaravintolat.fi/index.php ... &Itemid=67

What is the point of opening two threads?

There is also a big one in the Student House (opposite Stockmann), but I have no idea who organises it.

Then there are a billion smaller venues with craft fairs (eg the Christmas Bazaar at the Anglican church might be willing to rent you a table).

Yeah a whole bunch of people are telling me the student hall but if its booked I'll try next year (I'm usually late with these things) and as for the double post, not everyone looks at all categories

Thanks for the sites

Traditional markets in Espoo and Vantaa:

You'll find more data on the markets click the "perustiedot" -link.

At least I find it frustrating when i reply to a message just to realise it has been answered in another thread. To use this forum i use view new posts, which shows all the messages despite where they were posted.
