Ok, so I've been thinking of buying a pasta machine but want to find out if it will actually be used, or just be used to take up space in the cupboard

.
I'd really like to find out if the trouble is worth it or if it gets too messy/time consuming/whatever..
Any opinions/recommendations?
Jazqas.

You have to get a good one like the Imperia (I got mine in the UK but they are available in Finland). It needs to be a solid, heavy machine. Try looking at all the reviews on Amazon and you will get a good idea of what is good value for money.

We don't use it very often but it is easy to operate and makes great pasta (recipe book with the machine). The lasagne I make with home-made pasta is 10x better than using dried pasta.
Unless you eat a vast amount of pasta it probably isn't worth it. But if you love home-made, fresh ravioli .....

Fresh pasta is soooo much better than dried one. It is worth the investment, even if you don't use it often.
