I am hoping to take residency in finland soon. My mothers side of the family live here, and also my boyfriend. I have wanted to live here since i was 5 and i have finally decided to take the leap of faith.
I am 18 years old, and orginally from the Uk. I completed college A levels although not to the levels i was hoping. I have been looking into to Au pairing and if anyone can give me any advice or good agencies to try, please do. My main aim is to learn the finnish language as fast as possible, i am hoping since i used to be fluent when i was young, it will slowly come back. I am learning finnish so i can coutine my studies, i did plan to apply to a english course in helsinki, but unfortunately i missed the deadline due to family problems. I am considering wether it would be worth looking into doing finnish college, to become part of the system and better my chances. I eventually want to work in a playschool, but have ambitions to go into the teaching profession and am willing to work many years to get there. At the moment i am looking, for any work anywhere. Just so i can contribute to our household. We like in the Joensuu region so anyone from there that can suggest absolutely anything for a english speaker, with basic finnish. I would love to hear from you. I would love to work with children, one reason i'd love to find a au pair position. I am flexible and reliable and would be very very grateful for any advice anyone on can give me
