Champions League

Post by Lumberjack Nerd » Mon Mar 22, 2010 1:01 am

Does anyone know if the Champions League game Arsenal vs Barcelona on the 31st March will be shown on any Finnish tv channels? Being a huge Arsenal fan I don't want to miss it and I will be at my girlfriends parents house that week. Or maybe any bars in the Lahti maybe showing the game.

Did anyone else appreciate the angry SAF blaming anyone but himself and his team for the loss of the game? It was kind of funny to see him explain that "ze germans" didn't deserve to win ...
Here in Finland, I have done everything I can to blend-in with the Finns, I've changed my hair color, wore differnet clothes, got different

Have to say though it was a poor second yellow and the BM players did goad the refo on, must have learnt the trick from MU's old days

I was thinking the same. Pot, kettle, black.

As bad as $tevie Me £a going on about diving.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer team.

Actually, it could have happened to Chelsea, seeing the way they drove Anders Frisk out of the game.

(Then again, Chelsea fans are claiming there were four clear penalties in the Inter tie....)

For obvious reason, I'm thrilled that Bayern defeated Mister Alex and the team from the country that gave us football hooliganism. :)

The "typical Germans" in question happened to be Franck Ribery and Mark van Bommel, who were French and Dutch last time their passports were checked.

Another Premiership manager who is a fool, why do they think they have a god given right to win even if their teams are out played and the other lesser team manage to score more goals or more away goals.

And manure players would never surround the referee would they Sir Al would not allow it.

It's interesting that no English club made it to the semis (is it ?) of the CL. I'd actually want to see Barcelona win and be the first to be European champions in two consecutive years.
