Master's Degree in Finland?

Post by AmericanGuy » Sun Mar 28, 2010 6:43 am

I am almost graduated from a state university here in the US with a degree in biology and a degree in education. I for one am highly impressed with the education in finland, that mixed in with being highly impressed with a finnish girl. I was considering an attempt at a master's degree in education in Helsinki. any thoughts or advice on this matter would be sublime. I am currently attempting learning finnish, i have a couple grammar books, and use a couple useful sites, mixed in with submersing myself with finnish music, people, and even watching my favorite movies in finnish haha. Thanks for the your time.

AFAIK there is only one place where you can do a Masters in Education in Finland in English and that is Oulu (I have linked to it before so try the search engine, if you can't find it then try Google - it should pop up). However, you would need to get your current qualifications accepted if you want to avoid doing the Bachelors programme first.

Demand drastically exceeds supply in the number of places available to study education.

BTW: What impresses you so much about Finnish education? Have you already studied/taught here?

Edit: I found it.
