karhutie - maternity hospitals/ care centres

Hi all, looking for advice.

We think we found a house we like in Karhutie area of Helsinki. I'm looking for a maternity centre or hospital that deals with births nearby. Any suggestions? We
think there's one down the road, but that it doesn't do births.

Karhutie (Bear road) is in Herttoniemi. For maternity check ups you go to Herttoniemen neuvola, Kettutie 8 M (Fox road). And for giving birth you go to a hospital, the Kettutie place will tell you which one.

Actual giving birth in Helsinki would be Kätilöopisto or Naistenklinikka hospitals (or in Jorvi in Espoo) - the first visit, just to see the place and know what it is like, would be around week 36. Earlier pregnancy check-ups are in the local Neuvola as advised earlier.

sorry, didn't realise that was a road name, not an area. Thanks so much. Will contact the neuvola now to see if they want my records forwarded or a referral from my midwife or GP and to maybe book an appt.

I will be 34 weeks when we arrive, hopefully if the ash lets us fly.
