I know that students coming from countries outside EU need to have 6000e to get a residence permit, but what about students form EU countries? Does anyone know?

It is not so important if Migri wants to see the €6000,- or not.
It's a realistic minimum for a student to survive here.
(and don't count on part time work, to few opportunities, to many students)

Migri doesn't care, as EU citizens don't need a "permit". However the police want to see some sort of explanation of income before they give the "EU paper", and "living on holy spirit" isn't possible.
