Are you looking for freelancers or will you be hiring salaried teachers?

Actually I think I sent you my CV 2 or 3 years ago when you were negotiating with a bank. But I never heard from you after that.
Personally I am fully booked until the end of November, but might be interested in 2011. If I bump into any colleagues on the beach, I'll tell them to contact you
All the private language schools shut down for most of July so you might not get a ton of CVs until we all start crawling back at the beginning of August.

Re: Teachers of English, Swedish, Finnish, French & German
Please Note, the tender now requires Swedish instead of Dutch teachers.
Re: Teachers of English, Swedish, Finnish, French & German
Swedish-Swedish or Finnish-Swedish?
And is that teaching Swedish to Finns or to students of other nationalities?
I have a friend who might be interested in teaching Swedish but she is a native Finn. Her spoken English is very good but not fluent.

WTF is the use of teaching Finnish-Swedish dialect to some brahmins leaving the country in a couple of years? What is the use of teaching yodling Stockhomare to people who are going to be living here and trying to interact with the local brahmins?

Re: Teachers of English, Swedish, Finnish, French & German
Actually the French speak MUCH better English nowadays than they used to. A rash generalisation I know but, a lot of students in France take a gap year to improve their English or they use Erasmus or they go and work in London for a few years after they graduate (after all, it's a relatively short commute)... As EFL students I generally find them to be more demanding and focused in their learning than many Finnish students (who just want to chat). The French have far better writing skills than Finns (even Finns who have studied in English) and are more capable of putting together a coherent academic text than Finnish students. Maybe their listening skills are not so good though

Re: Teachers of English, Swedish, Finnish, French & German
if the target is the European Chemicals Agency's staff, these are people who are already fluent in at least 2 languages and need to learn a third one, which is why they are looking for teachers for the languages indicated.
