Hijinks at Highbury...

Post by Slothrop » Tue Apr 06, 2004 11:35 pm

The Rse are going out...

Bloody hell, Chelski are going to meet Monaco. Who'd have thought...

Good old BBC...

2133: It is all over at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea are in the semi-finals of the Champions League, while Arsenal have been knocked out of Europe and the FA Cup within four days.

Doh.. it was played at Highbury.

And on another note

Wimbledon have been relegated to Div2. Sad to see them go down again. We wont see the likes of them again :?:

Although you could say Monaco Beating Real was a truimph for the smaller clubs. Well done Monaco.

Who would have thought that result especially when it was a Real loan striker who got Monaco back into the game

Lets see how the Arse get on at the weekend.

Im gutted, It would have been the first year that I would have thought we could have had a chance.

All the teams remaining are there on merit though. And deserve their semi final places.

Chelsea dont deserve to win it after nearly 50 years without a league title though :!:

Well if the Knight of the Purple Countenance had spent more time in Tescos and less time in the Owners and Trainers Enclosure at Goodwood or the Silver Ring at Chepstow, perhaps you wouldn't be so many points adrift... :)
