Basic fault in your business plan is Finnish car tax. Of course theres a niche market, but if you have the few hundred thousand euros there to be sitting in the warehouse I doubt you'd be asking stupid questions here wasting our time but hired a business consultant already - or bought a running tax-free car operation. The 23% VAT fiddling is also another point of grief importing used cars, as depending on who pays the car tax and when theres a few interesting aspects. Nevermind selling a pig in the sack unless you pay the taxes you can't give the cars for a test drive so you'd need to be having a big field somewhere... Small time operation, bringing in one or two cars at a time and turning it over - if you can find a buyer - but breaking even is a challenge if you don't have a ready buyer - and you have thousands sitting there in warehouse. So apart from all that a great idea, done any more thinking or was that a fruit of years work?

besides, there are Finnish guys in Germany you can hire to get a car for you for a few hundred euros.

1) choose car on mobil.de
2) guy goes and checks it out
3) pay guy
4) buys it and drives it to the boat

You then have the joy of customs
