Prams/Strollers in the winter

Hi to all the parents out there

I am a student and I am doing a research for a new product for prams/strollers. It's about the winter season and the fact that prams are probably to get stuck in big snow.

There is one problem with your idea: the pavements have grit on snow. It would work only in the countryside.

Uuh... skis for prams? One would think that it would only work properly if there were ski tracks. If the skis sink through the snow you have to push the whole thing through snow anyway.

People here use prams with big wheels. I have a hard time seeing how skis would make it easier, especially as one would need then to remove the skis to get on a bus, go in to a shop, etc etc.

But I still would like to see first how that really would work in lots of snow. And I only found them for strollers, not larger prams.

The ones with decent width wheels & proper tyres that pump up are best especially in winter.
