WHERE TO GO?

Post by friendstaller » Fri Oct 15, 2010 8:37 pm

Dear All, Am single eventhough i have child here who lives with the mother far away from helsinki and am working almost all week. I have money to pay for a managable rent so i contacted some house rental offices and explain the situation to them that my kid is far away and wants to see him all the time so i can see his upbringing so i will need apartment in emergency situation. I am close with the mother eventhough not married and she can spend time here with the kid if i have my own apartment but not and i cannot bring them here to visit bcos i live with people. Whom do i have to see to get more urgent assistance in getting house in helsinki?

http://www.stadinasunnot.fi/en/ is your starting place - I can't read from your message if you've already been there.
If you don't have your own place right now and are willing to move to the least desired areas in town you should get something from them within a couple of months.
Not sure if having a child will help you, they may require for you to have him with you half of the time (see the forms.)

Otherwise, if you are in a hurry companies like vvo and sato usually have something available (make sure to go y their offices). See also vuokraovi.com
