Hi, i'm a student in Vietnam and i want to apply for a university in Finland (Metropolia or Haaga). I want to study about logistics and supply chain management. I have some questions about it:
1.Which university should i apply if i want to study this major? (English teaching) (I want to get Bachelor's degree).
2.Is Finland good at teaching logistics among another good-logistics teaching countries like Holland, Belgium, Norway,...?
3.Is logistics in Finland a strong major and developing so that i have the good job-opportunity when i graduate with high salary (if i knew Finnish)?
Thank you very much !!!
Study logistics in Finland?
Re: Study logistics in Finland?
Your chances of getting a job related to your study are low, in general your chances are low.so that i have the good job-opportunity when i graduate with high salary (if i knew Finnish)?
Speaking (nearly) fluent Finnish is one of the key factors. But if you study in English, you won't achieve that.
And no job within 6 months after getting your degree means end of residence permit and back home again.

Re: Study logistics in Finland?
As far as I know the only English taught degree in logistics in Finland is available at JAMK in Jyväskylä. Logistics Engineering is the course name.

I'm now in the 4th year of this degree just completing my final elective credits. The course standards are decent enough. The quality of teaching varies from teacher to teacher but generally it is quite good. All the teachers have some practical experience in the field of logistics.
Most of the international degree students here don't tend to stick around in Finland due to the fact their Finnish isn't good enough to secure a job. Of course this is just generalising, but pretty much all the Asian students I've met here (mainly Chinese) don't seem to have any intention of staying here after graduation, even from the very beginning.
