entrance examination physiotherapy!

Hi guys!

I am a 21 years old girl and I have always dreamed to become a physiotherapist..I would like to study it abroad and particularly in Finland
I know that Satakunta University of applied science (in Pori) offers a bachelor's degree in physiotherapy in english so this would be a unique chance for me to accomplish my dream!

What I would like to ask you is: CAN ANYBODY GIVE ME SOME SUGGESTIONS ABOUT THE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION ?!
For instance, can anybody tell me what exactly will it be about? how should I prepare myself to succed and get admitted? what are the entry requirements in wich the examitors will focus on? ...ANYTHING!!

I know that the examination will have an oral, a written and a physical exam. I've already contacted the university to have some further and more detailed informations about these exams in order to be able to prepare myself the best that I can and to know what I'll have to face...but they gave me just some general informations that didn't help to undestand how is a finnish entrance examination of physiotherapy.

ANY SUGGESTION, PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, INFORMATION, DETAIL WILL BE WIDELY WELCOMED!

I hope you'll answer me, it's really important and any information would be really helpful for me!

there are so many same requests from prospective foreign students, funny though

that would be great if finnish universities would publish more practical information on their websites what to expect in exams (not the exam questions, but samples), structure, references etc.

i'm in same boat as you and i still couldnt find any info how to prepare and what to start to read.. ((

Entrance exams are different in every school.. I have heard that in physiotherapy entr.ex. there has been for example interview with either teacher or psychologist, just questions like "why would you like to become physiotherapist?", "why we should choose you?", "what are you strenghtS/weaknesses?", "In your dreams, where you would be working?"..
Some schools make people to have conversation in small groups, like topic "how we could inspired kids to exercise more?"
In some schools there is written exam with few simple math tasks, writing essays (based on some articles given maybe).. Some schools has psychological tests, where you continue pictures and so on.. (language skills, math skills, logical thinking skills, creativity..)
In physical part there can be smaller groups and everybody has to guide the group doing some physical exercise (group leading skills) and some simple movements that measure balance or so..

They don't tell lot about that kinds of entr.ex.s, but best way to prepare is just think good answers for questins "why i would like to study this and why i would be good f.examp. physiotherapist".. That sucks, but everybody are in same situation, you really can not prepare for exams in any special way. (In health, social .. fields).

I’m living Finland in from two years and would like now to apply for physiotherapy in Pori also. It has been my intention 8 years ago and now I want to do it.

Could you answer your same question from 14 years if you remember anything. It would be kind of you to help me prepare for the entrance exam.

For the exam, brush up on health and anatomy basics, and practice problem-solving. Stay fit for the physical test and be ready to talk about why you want to be a physiotherapist.
