Greetings everyone:
I am planning to move to Jyväskylä with my finnish wife next year. I am a web/graphic designer from Mexico. I speak fluent English and of course, Spanish. Does anybody know how easy/hard is it to get a job in those fields in the above mentioned city?. I will appreciatte any help.
In case you need further information about my skills to be able to reply to my question, well, let me tell you I am very proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Dreamweaver, although I do not have any programming skills (seriously considering learning JAVA or C+).
Thanks in advance.

As a web designer in Jyväskylä you have to communicate with Finnish customers.
Without good Finnish you'll have a problem.
If you want to stay in that field, you probably have to think internationally with some sort of on line service.

Well it is good that you are moving with your wife in Jyväskylä, hope you found your job already. Actually it doesn’t matter if you are not that fluent with Finnish language because lots of Finnish peoples know how to talk in English language. I work there 6 months ago as a working student and return here after I finished studying.

Have you ever tried to look or search in online by using some search engine like google. I think you can be found some info that you can be use as reference in your topic. There’s lot of info that we can found in google just we have a patience in searching.

Hi
You need to learn Finnish language even if you get a bath cleaning job. It's that stupid here. If you can manage to learn Finnish after some years then you may need Swedish as an extra skill to get a job. Good luck.
