Re: Finland--I need a Job
In my experience if you do not know the Finnish language or just have very low level of knowlegde, NO WAY you will get any decent job the normal way ie. via monster, mol etc. The only way you can get a job are thru friends or reccomendation. Am I right ? Anybody out there with zero or very little Finnish got a job thru application via the traditional way ??? We want to hear from you !

Only in niche (where they do not get Finns), like IT,'building', 'cleaning', you might get a job without fluent Finnish. This is however in every country the same. Kokoomus would like to import more foreigners for these niches so the bonuses, profits for where they really do it for can stay on the same level. At the same time they hope that the 25 percent unemployed foreigners (and 10 percent Finns) just die out.

Re: Finland--I need a Job
I managed to get 2 job offers from the 3 that interviewed me. I only know how to greet someone and say thankyou in Finnish at the moment. I googled monster and found the job vacancies and applied online. However, the job sector is IT and the job is highly skilled with a good salary. I have over 20 years experience in this job with qualifications so I guess i come under the IT factor in Finland.Msfin wrote:In my experience if you do not know the Finnish language or just have very low level of knowlegde, NO WAY you will get any decent job the normal way ie. via monster, mol etc. The only way you can get a job are thru friends or reccomendation.
