Position summary:

Field test analyst works with the field test team that performs wireless device and application testing with various mobile network operators.

Field test analyst works on needed basis and can be located in any country in Europe.

The work involves test planning and analyzing the test results provided by the field test team and compilation of the final test reports to the end customer.

Job Description:
-Mainly responsible for working with the testing team and reporting to the testing manager
-Preparing new testing plans and strategies
-Development of field testing methods for handset devices
-Problem isolation and identifying the root cause of issues based on field test results and logs
-Compilation of various written and verbal reports on the results of testing
-Statistical reporting and analysis

Required background:
-The position requires Engineering Degree in Telecommunications and at least 2-4 years mobile testing experience
-In depth knowledge of wireless technologies
-In depth understanding of network (e.g. TCP/IP) protocols and excellent knowledge of debugging performance, connection and session setup issues in field and during drive testing
-Must possess solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies and solid understanding of the Software Development Cycle
-Knowledge of wireless diagnostic software
-Possess the ability to evaluate new software products/applications and an understanding of enterprise technical issues, e.g. networking, database, Internet, etc.
-Excellent analytical knowledge: ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
-Good presentation and technical/statistical reporting skills
-Ability to select tests based on the features available and scope of testing against the given drive route
-Must be resourceful, confident and take initiative
-Must possess strong attention to detail and the ability to remain focused on a project.
-Ability to communicate effectively and fluently, in writing and orally, with Customer and/or employees of the organization in English.
