Hei,
I live in Turkey and I want to applicate to "Global Information Technology and Management" MSc programme at Turku University next year.
I have one year of free time and I want to learn Finnish language in Finland and work at a part-time job at the same time for recreation. Which prosedure should I follow? Which visa is required to do that?
In Turkey, Finnish courses doesn't exist.
Au-pair visa is the only option? Are there full time language studies which grants student visa?
Kiitos.
I want to learn Finnish and work part time

To stay for a year, probably yes.Au-pair visa is the only option?
Otherwise you'll fall in the 3 months/6 months visa system.
And as an Au pair you might learn Finnish more easily.
I don't think so.Are there full time language studies which grants student visa?

They would have to be for a professional degree. There are of course those, a few of them even for non-native speakers, but none for anybody even near "beginner" status.quanom wrote: Are there full time language studies which grants student visa?
Re: I want to learn Finnish and work part time
Thank you very much for posts.
I wish that I could work part-time during Finnish language courses.
"Working" is the issue here.
Although I have an industrious personality, Au-pair jobs are hard to get because I have not even a single reference and well, women are favorable here.

"I want to learn Finnish and work part time"
I see two little problems here - learning Finnish in a year and getting a part time job - the rest should be fine

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.
