See the world through Finnish eyes!
Tenderly lensed humor, melancholy, reindeer, saunas and much more.

DocPoint, the largest documentary festival in the Nordic region, celebrates its 10th anniversary by bringing the best of Finnish films to New York. Our highlights include brand new work by young filmmakers, recent festival hits and rare screenings of work by esteemed directors with a presence on the international radar.

New Yorkers will have a chance to meet Finnish filmmakers at the screenings, some of which are North-American or New York premieres. For those interested beyond the screening rooms, DocPoint NYC also offers panel discussions, parties and other events.

DocPoint NYC is proudly presented in close collaboration with our partners: The Museum of Modern Art, Scandinavia House: The Nordic Center in America, UnionDocs, 92YTribeca, The Flaherty Seminar, the Tribeca Film Institute and Kelly DeVine.

Organized by DocPoint – Helsinki Documentary Film Festival with the support of Consulate General of Finland in New York, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland, Ministry of Education and Culture of Finland, AVEK - The Promotion Centre for Audiovisual Culture, The Finnish Film Foundation, Aalto University, Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.
