We are planning on taking a Viking line trip to Stockholm. Any ideas on must-see places over there?

According to wikipedia

Rinkeby is a district (Swedish: stadsdel) in Rinkeby-Kista borough, Stockholm, Sweden.[1] Rinkeby had 15,051 inhabitants as at December 31, 2007.[2]
Rinkeby is noted for its high concentration of immigrants and people with immigrant ancestry (see definition of Swede). 89.1% of the population of Rinkeby has a first- or second-generation immigrant background as of 31 December, 2007.

Looks like someone got off the wrong side of the bed! Thanks for nothing!!

A definite must is to visit the Vasa museum. Highly recommended.

It would help if oyu gave an idea what kind of things you would want to see. Assuming I had never been there, alone i'd likely want to see the Vasa ship, some of the historical museums of the palace and little strolling in Gamla Stan and new city center. With small kids I think I'd have have Skansen on the list and next time I'll actually go there I'll at least consider the butterfly house (bit far, I recall).

and while we are at it, seeing first hand if one gets as strong a feeling of being outside Sweden and RInkeby as one would think some things i have read, could well be worth that Tunnelbana trip (actually I think i have once been there, but that was rather long time ago...)

Easy to get to from Viking Line Terminal
If you check the link "VISIT" tells you how to get there..Think there is a ferry near Viking terminal.
