just thought id share some details on me..
just in case someone knows of something/anything coming available in English until I can learn to speak Finnish
NOTE** . I am very willing to step outside the area of my qualified field, and will consider any work-short term/long term


I am a qualified post-primary Music and Mathematics teacher from Ireland seeking employment in the Helsinki area. I really appreciate you taking the time to read this. It would be great if you had any advice on finding jobs related to music or teaching in Finland.

Qualifications:

In August of last year, I received my Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Music and Mathematics) from University Limerick. Previous to this qualification I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Hons.) in Music and Mathematics at University College Dublin. I have also completed a City and Guilds Diploma in Sound and Music Technology. Most recently I have completed a Masters in Music Technology receiving first class honours from University Limerick. My final project centred on the development of a natural interactive system to facilitate music learning by using the Kinect.

Skills:
-I am currently completing the final Piano grade with the Royal Irish Academy of Music (classical) and have been playing guitar (traditional/rock/pop) for about 10 years.
-Skilled in studio related technology including but not limited to microphones, processors and effects, MMAD design, stereo techniques, mixing, mastering.
- Intermediate skills with both Pd and Max/MSP / Flash / Arduino.
- Deep understanding of Pro Tools and Logic
- Currently teaching myself Processing

About me:
I am a determined hard worker with the ability to work well both individually and in a team setting. I am known for being enthusiastic and taking on new challenges where I can learn new skills and continuously adapt to new experiences. I have strong interpersonal and communication skills. I believe I have the skills to succeed in a various number of roles.
