I heard from quite a few Scotsmen at work that they will be supporting France as opposed to England.
Do you think they are in the minority?

Helvete också, nu regnar det igen!

Who will the Scots support England vs. France?

Good Scotland, good...

When do you learn?
France of course.
Why the f*ck would we support engerland?
I'd rather remove my own spine with a blunt pencil.

Have you never heard of the 'auld alliance'?
Kinship between the Scots and the French goes back a long way, especially whaen it comes to their mutual loathing of all things Engl*sh!
But seriously, why don't we all just have a big group hug, forget about the past and hope for a good clean, entertaining game of football? That France win.

Cos it's strange, isn't it. You stand in the middle of a library and go 'Aaaaaagghhh!!' and everyone just stares at you. But you do the same thing on an aeroplane, and everyone joins in.

Whatever. Who really cares what the nether regions of the British Isles think. Did they qualify for the tournament? No. Inferiority complex? Yes.
Like in the rugby the French will get tought another lesson at the hands of the soon to be double 2004 champions England
I'll remind you lot of the mother of all speeches from the eve of a previous big battle against the French - it did the trick alright! (read and weep).
Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;
Or close the wall up with our English dead.
In peace there's nothing so becomes a man
As modest stillness and humility:
But when the blast of war blows in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the tiger;
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,
Disguise fair nature with hard-favour'd rage;
Then lend the eye a terrible aspect;
Let pry through the portage of the head
Like the brass cannon; let the brow o'erwhelm it
As fearfully as doth a galled rock
O'erhang and jutty his confounded base,
Swill'd with the wild and wasteful ocean.
Now set the teeth and stretch the nostril wide,
Hold hard the breath and bend up every spirit
To his full height. On, on, you noblest English.
Whose blood is fet from fathers of war-proof!
Fathers that, like so many Alexanders,
Have in these parts from morn till even fought
And sheathed their swords for lack of argument:
Dishonour not your mothers; now attest
That those whom you call'd fathers did beget you.
Be copy now to men of grosser blood,
And teach them how to war. And you, good yeoman,
Whose limbs were made in England, show us here
The mettle of your pasture; let us swear
That you are worth your breeding; which I doubt not;
For there is none of you so mean and base,
That hath not noble lustre in your eyes.
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

"The signing of the Auld Alliance in 1295 might have given the Scots French support against England, but it also gave the Scottish merchants the privilege of selecting the first choice of Bordeaux’s finest wines - a privilege which was eagerly protected for hundreds of years, much to the annoyance of English wine drinkers who received an inferior product."
Some things never change
And yes, England will win. Like England won all the competitions in the last 38 years with their excellent teams.

Here in Finland, I have done everything I can to blend-in with the Finns, I've changed my hair color, wore differnet clothes, got different

France and Scotland. I can't think of two countries that deserve eachother more.
As for the Welsh... well I mean... does anyone actually care?
Of course, although my heart says England I have money on a French win. I might be patriotic, but I'm not stupid.

You know that:
Zidane
Viera
Henry
Pires
Ouch
3-0 to France if I was a betting man
I've been watching a lot of Zidane recently and the guy is absolutely unbelievable

There will be a german referee for the game France-England, Markus Merk.
No russian linesmen ...
I´ve not decided yet if I go for a draw (1:1 or 2:2) or for a 3:2 for France.

Go for the France win if your betting. Nobody beats an offside trap like Henry especially of Zidanes threading the ball through (dont forget Calamity James in the goal

)

Michael Owens living off past glory and Rooneys the new Gazza

Still we have Heskey for backup

Gerrard and Scholes are our only world class players.
