A-residence permit (work) requirements changed??

Hello,

has anyone applied recently for A- residence permit on work basis?

My A-permit is valid till end of July, will need to apply for extending soon, Now checking the application form, looks like they want a bunch of attachments:

Muita työnantajalta mahdollisesti tarvittavia selvityksiä (ellei ole aikaisemmin toimitettu tai aiemmin toimitettuihin tietoihin on tullut muutoksia):
Kaupparekisteriote (enintään 3 kk vanha)
Tuloslaskelma ja tase liitetietoineen (viimeisimmältä päättyneeltä tilikaudelta)
Muu selvitys yrityksen taloudellisesta tilanteesta (jos kyse aloittavasta yrityksestä tai jos kuluvan tilikauden aikana ollut huomattavia muutoksia yrityksen taloudellisessa tilanteessa)
Verovelkatodistus (enintään 3 kk vanha)
Selvitys urakoista ja työkohteista
Selvitys yrityksen henkilöstömäärästä (myös kokoaikaisten ja osa-aikaisten työntekijöiden osuudet)

Jatkolupahakemukseen lisäksi:
Kirjanpitäjän todistus maksetuista palkoista
Verottajan todistus suoritetuista ennakonpidätyksistä
TyEl-vakuutusmaksutodistus
Työaikakirjanpito

Last year I applied after graduation and did not submit any of the above except for the salary slip, the contract and the form (TEM 0.54) filled in by my employer.

Please share your experience, did you apply recently? I don't how much time it might take to collect those docs and if the employer is willing to cooperate at all...

If you are not self-employed or don't own a company, then these requirements are not for you.

You just stick with your last year details (i.e. Residence permit application for employment (OLE_TY1) or Residence permit application for scientific research (OLE_TUT); attach your salary slips; and the appendix to worker's residence permit application form (TEM 054) filled in by your employer). That's it!

Also, why not use the English language form, as such thing is available and you clearly do not understand (at least enough) Finnish?

I SUGGEST FOLLOW THE ENGLISH VERSION THAT RIP HAS MENTIONED, IF YOUR FINNISH IS NOT GOOD.

THIS IS WHAT IS TAKEN FROM THE ENGLISH VERSION OF THE FORM:

Obligatory appendices:
Valid passport (must be presented when submitting the residence permit application)
Passport photo complying with the photo guidelines issued by the police (http://www.poliisi.fi English >Licences >Passport >Photo guidelines)
Appendix to residence permit application for workers, to be filled in by the employer (TEM 0.54)
Or, if the employer is a registered association or other corporation, the following appendices must be submitted instead of the TEM 0.54 form:
Extract from the association register
Annual report and/or operating plan
By-laws of the association
Report on the financial position of the association

FOLLOWING IS THE EXACT TRANSLATION WITH RELATION TO YOUR INITIAL QUERY:

Other clarifications possibly required from the employer (if not submitted earlier, or if changes have occurred to previously submitted information)
Trade Register extract (no more than 3 months old)
Income statement and balance sheet, with notes (from the last complete financial period)
Other report on the financial situation of the company (in case of a start-up company, or if significant changes have occurred in the company’s financial situation during the current financial period)
Certificate of tax liability (no more than 3 months old)
Report on job contracts and work sites
Report on the number of personnel in the company (and also how many full-time and part-time employees there are)

For an application for an extended permit, also enclose the following:
Accountant’s certificate of wages paid
Tax certificate on withholding tax deducted and paid
Certificate on employment pension insurance contributions paid
Working hours documentation

In case of an application for an extended permit for a person who has completed a degree or qualification in Finland, also enclose
Degree or qualification certificate

The above bunch of attachments may (or may not) be required in your case (Depending if you have not changed your work organization/field and still working in the same company)

I think in your case you just need the following things in addition to the application form:
1. Valid passport
2.Passport photo
3. Form TEM 0.54 (Appendix to residence permit application for workers, to be filled in by the employer)

In some cases, the remaining details that you asked are filled by the Finnish employer who hire a foreign worker into their company. So the Police need such information from the employer to see if the company exists and they do make profit, etc. This should not be your concern.

HOWEVER, IF YOU ARE STILL CONFUSED THEN THE BEST OPTION IS THAT YOU JUST GO TO THE POLICE AND ASK THEM, INSTEAD OF RELYING TO THIS FORUM. THEY ARE THE OFFICIAL PEOPLE WHO CAN GIVE YOU PROPER GUIDANCE. HERE YOU WILL JUST RECEIVE ADVICE ON AS IS WHERE IS BASIS.

the problem is not Finnish or English, that both of you are trying to focus on.

My original question referred to the above 1-2 points , whether there have been any changes since last year given that I did not have to annex those to my application then??

If you are still working in the "SAME" established organization like "University or Nokia, etc", then you don't need to submit anything else, except your form, passport, photo, TEM 0.54. As there is no separate form for Extension of a residence permit for workers (except for Permanent Permit OLE_JATKO_P_PEY), you have to use the same OLE-TY1_en form and just tick I am applying for "an extended permit".

There has been no changes, unless you have changed your work sector then you will need to apply afresh for another one year A-type first residence permit!

Anyway, I will have to apply soon, will find out.

I still work at the same company which is a small company and not necessarily known like big dogs- Nokia, Ikea etc .

Couple of weeks ago applied for the Residence Permit Extension (and B to A) and submitted the following docs.

1. Passport copy with permit pages
2. OLE_TY2
3. OLE_JATKO_PS(for wife's extension)
4. OLE_PH4(For child's first time RP)
5. PH4_plus(For child's first time RP)
6. PK4_plus(For child's first time RP)
5. TEM0.54
6. Photos
7. Contract with the company
8. Covering letter form the company
