Hello everyone,
hopefully you could help me to solve a question about osakeyhtiö registration procedure, according to the formation package for limited companies taken from NBPR site there should be at least one member of the Board of Directors with permanent place of residence in the European Economic Area.
Not taking an opportunity of getting an exceptional permission from NBPR into account I wonder, am I entitled to become a single founder of a company in Finland, if I have a residence permit type A valid for the next 3 years?
Residence permit of company founder
Re: Residence permit of company founder
Considering they are referring to the 'maistraatti' for clarification, I think the answer for your question is 'Yes' (their permanent is something different from permanent residence permits permits)
(Assuming that in addition to that A permit you are actually (primarily) living here, and the magistrate office records correctly show that)

Like Rip said; probably yes.am I entitled to become a single founder of a company in Finland, if I have a residence permit type A valid for the next 3 years?
But there is an other point. When you are the majority shareholder and you're getting a salary from that company, the rules for taxes, social benefits and entrepreneurs insurance are slightly different (and complex). You have to look into it. The vero pages will give you a start.
