Post by gezbrady » Thu Jun 21, 2012 1:02 pm

Finnish for "City Cricket Club", Stadin KrikettiKerho (SKK) is one of the original cricket clubs in Helsinki, Finland. With members from nine different nationalities between the ages of 16 and 55 and with skills ranging from former first-class to the novice, we are arguably one of the most diverse and successful clubs in Finland!

We have a team playing in the Finnish Cricket Association (FCA) 40-over, T20 and winter indoor leagues, and a stack of social fixtures, tournaments and tours, not to mention the annual Aussie Bar SKK Sixes on Saturday 4th August. In addition, we practice twice a week during the summer, once a week indoors during the winter. Anyone is welcome to join us at training in Ruskeasuo, Helsinki (see below) to roll the arm over or swing a bat and we also have club equipment if you left it at home!

If you are interested in becoming a member, we have social, student/unemployed and full memberships from between 40€ - 80€.
