Marriage in Finland (but not residence)

Hello,

My fiancée (Russian) and I (English) want to get married in Finland (but we're not planning on living there, just wanted to make a combined wedding and honeymoon as we both love travelling and it's exciting for us to get married abroad).

I've read up on it and understand we will need to take our Certificates of No Impediment to the local register office before marriage and they will do an investigation. Once completed, we will be issued with a certificate of investigation of impediments to show that we can get married.

There are a couple of things I'm not too clear on. I assume the CNIs will be required not just in their native language (with Apostille) but also notarised translations (in Finnish)? This is just my assumption (I didn't see a mention of this on Maistraatti) and I hope someone can clarify.

What kind of turn-around time have people personally experienced? I've seen a few mentions of seven days on various forums, but noticed that it is written "no earlier than seven days" on the website. I just want to make sure we're in Finland for long enough. (At the moment, we're planning on spending 14 days there, but maybe it should be longer? Day 1 and day 14 will be the days we arrive/leave so they can't really be counted for doing anything.)

Will we need to get married in the same city where the "certificate of investigation of impediments" is issued? (We wanted to visit a few places and were going to register in Helsinki, spend a few days there, visit Tampere and then return to Helsinki before then travelling on to Turku.)

I'd think documents in English language would be accepted, Russian probably not, but ask directly from the location were you want the marriage to take place.

I was thinking they might accept in English. I sent off an email earlier to the "register office" in Helsinki.
