German/English speaker - nanny job/private lessons, Helsinki

Hi everyone,

I am a visiting student from Hamburg University staying in Helsinki for the next nine months.

If you are currently looking for a (male) nanny or some private language lessons for your kids – please read further.

About me:

I am 22 years old, my native language is German. I love music and sports - played soccer, handball, tennis, did rowing and cycling and played clarinet/saxophone for 9 years. Furthermore, I love to be outside, to cook healthy food and to read.

I taught English, German and mathematics to 6th graders in Hamburg and gave private lessons in mathematics as a freelancer. Before I moved to Hamburg, I have worked as a tutor of a weekly playgroup for socially disadvantaged children (ages 5 to 9) and managed their beginners course in swimming for nine month. I love to work with kids and am very dedicated, honest and reliable. I am happy to provide references on request!

I speak fluent English and have a good understanding of French. I’m currently studying Finnish and also have some basic knowledge of Spanish and Italian.
And of capital importance: I’m open-minded, creative and love to laugh!

Need assistance?

My university lectures are mainly from Monday to Thursday between 12 – 4 pm. I am available outside of these hours, as well as Friday and weekends full-time. So if you need assistance of any kind, somebody to look after your kids, to prepare dinner or lunch or to manage picking up and driving to school, I can help out!

If you are searching for somebody with a creative approach to make (the sometimes detested) school subjects of Mathematics, English, German or any kind of natural science more interesting, I would love to help out motivating!

I live close to Helsinki center, I’m always flexible concerning working times and do not have problems with working overnight. Furthermore, I have a driving license and will also take organizational jobs of any kind into consideration.
