Hi everybody,

Kiitos paljon..

Re: Christmas Job
Hello,
I know Stockmann is looking for people during Christmas, sadly you need to know Finnish and the application is also in Finnish. I will post you the link regardless, as I don't know if you know any Finnish or not. I assume you do not need to be fluent or anything.

Good luck!

Moi LilleMy,
Olen opiskelija ja 27 vuotta vanha. Puhun vähän Suomea. Etsin työpaikka Joulussa.
Do you think it's possible to get job for packing or at warehouse?
Kiitos paljon.
Terveisin,
Moonlightway.

Re: Christmas Job
Hello again, Moonlightway..
I am not Finnish myself, but I asked my boyfriend and he did not think it should be necessary knowing Finnish fluently to work in a warehouse or in order to pack stuff. However, I assume that they prefer people that do, but you should try regardless, I don't think it should be impossible!
Here is a link with all the available warehouse jobs in the country, but I don't think they are Christmas jobs only and as far as I can see, everything is written in Finnish:
http://www.mol.fi/paikat/Search.do?lang ... resultList
You can edit the list to suit your location, time span and so on. My Finnish is nearly non-existant so I think you can do that better than me!
Your Finnish seems to be fine as well, although my boyfriend commented that you have written that you are looking for work in the city of "Joulu", which is not what you want to say. He is not here right now though as I am replying, so I don't have a correction available.
Hope it helps!
