Hey guys..
I have just moved to Finland (quite unexpectedly, thanks to the best laid plans of mice and men going slightly awry)
The age old quandary of not speaking Finnish, and not knowing enough people is rearing its ugly head, causing me to resort to writing posts in a Forum! Basically I am a mid 30's bloke with quite a lot of catering experience, but also a computer whiz (home & servers / windows mainly)/ website guy .... And before you cry out "that should be easy..." here's the catch.. I don't program!
I design quite a lot of sites (bit of PHP, mainly joomla stuff), and have a few clients in another country (complete with my own servers in Amsterdam), but not enough to make ends meet here in Finland. So I am looking for new clients or work of any kind in the Joensuu area!
If anyone knows of anything, or has any tips that do not involve the Job centre (been there) I would be appreciative.
Yes i do have a Finnish ID card (valid until 2018), and a social security number, no i don't have an alcohol passi yet (although will happily get one if needed)
