long time waiting for job .....depressed

Hi,
I am now very depressed as i came in Finland 2009 can speak english as i am asian, i did specialized study IN NETWORKING CISCO from METROPOLIA UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES , IST CCNA AND NOW CCNP almost half. i am doing full time language course almost 3 level has done and i can now speak Finnish not much fluent but better. But still dont know the proper way to apply the job or where i should apply. i can do any job even cleaning. i have experience of 8 years of work , different work like teaching , day care etc.
3 years i struggled and now i want to have job. Please any body guide me where i should apply for job or training to get immediate response.

Hi Roos,

I am very sorry that you feel sad and couldn't find a place to work.I think almost all foreigners agree that getting into the job
market here in Finland is a very difficult task. I have been myself in your tough situation. I received more than 70 " sorry, unfortunately you are not..." and I started asking myself maybe I don't have enough competences,maybe I need to learn more what should I do more? When I had a change to get a six month project trough a network surprisingly I learned that my colleagues are not any better than me, in fact my knowledge was more update and I was more open to new ideas and innovation. But... as I mentioned I got that
project trough a network and here is the trick. I learned from Finns that many Finnish people know someone who knows someone and very often people are already appointed for the a vacancy but then due to the rules and regulation and equal! chance job is published.

Please keep your hope and spirit and continue,I really hope that an opportunity opens up to you as soon as possible. As an idea, maybe you can contact the adult education such as Helsingin Kaupunki , Arbis etc. and offer them teaching service. you already have Cisco's certificate so you can teach that to others.

I already crossed my fingers for you and wished the best for the very near future.

Hi Im Takhmina and i have some advice for u. Actually i have been in your situation. If u want cleaning job u can apply to sol or pikkunoita or servi sol etc. Find this company on the internet and call them. And if they will say that apply on the internet u say that i want to come to office and write application. Just go through the office and apply there.When u will go there they will give u application u will write this application and your experince. Bealive me in min. 3day max 1 week they will call u. Just go through the office and apply there.Its all I can do. Wish u all the best.

Thank you so so much Takhmina for your kind response in much detail, it make my mind v relax that at least there can be a place for me. i must try there.
as my finnish course is about to end now and now i can speak and understand satisfactory Finnish language .
