Yes that's true.
A few years ago, someone told me about a guy in Jyväskylä central hospital who had just had a pacemaker fitted. Cost to the hospital for the operation was somewhere over 20,000€ (yes, twenty thousand euros). The guy then proceeded to complain about paying the 11€ day rate, which didn't go down well with the staff.

That's all? 11€ a day?
When I gave birth in Helsinki I paid almost 30€ a day for four days. Then when I had spine surgery in Hyvinkää, I paid the same almost 30€ a day for 4 day stay. Gees... only 11€. What a winger.
Stupid arse man should go to some place like America, where such prodcedures cost 1000's more than this mere 20,000€. And make it so he doesn't have insurance LOL. So then he could REALLY whinge.
