anybody know what documents should I take when I go to the police to apply the permanent residence permit (PR)? thanks so much.

Go to the migri webpage and download the application form.

The answer to your question is in Section E.

Yeah, look it up from the migri pages. You obviously have a residence permit and had it for several years already..... You must know the ins and outs by now.
