Hello, I would like to know is there any baby and mother groups in Espoo area, I am a mother with ten months old baby girl. I hope to know other mums.

Hi Emily,
there is one in Helsinki but I think now they have a Summer break because there is no new date. I have a nine month old baby girl and also looking for some baby activity group.

Would be good to know where in Espoo... Niiperi is a bit different from Mätinkylä.... 
There are many groups, have a look at MLL pages - they have a "Family Coffee" type group: http://www.mll.fi/perheille/perhekahvilat/.
Also take a look at the local church groups.
Finally, I think the espoo pages have some info (again in finnish only): http://www.espoo.fi/fi-FI/Paivahoito_ja ... kalenterit
Try get someone to explain it to you - there are normally parents there who will speak English.

I just moved to Espoo less than a week ago with my husband and six month old son. I'm looking for other moms/expat wives for playdates and company. Emily and Diana, feel free to send me a pm - and other women in similar situations. We could make a group of our own!
